KOVH Foundation Achieves 501(c)(3) Status to Support Veteran Families Facing Foreclosure
[City, State] – [Date] – The Keep Our Vets Housed (KOVH) Foundation is proud to announce its official recognition as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Founded by Amy Tilley-Boyd, KOVH is dedicated to preventing homelessness among veteran families by providing advocacy, resources, and support to those at risk of foreclosure.
KOVH was born out of Amy Tilley-Boyd’s personal struggle to save her own home from foreclosure, a battle that highlighted the urgent need for assistance tailored to veteran families. Now, as a fully recognized 501(c)(3) organization, KOVH is poised to expand its reach and impact nationwide.
"This milestone solidifies our mission to protect the homes of those who have served our country," said Amy Tilley-Boyd, Founder and Executive Director of KOVH Foundation. "Veterans and their families deserve stability and security, and we are committed to providing the tools and resources they need to stay housed."
The foundation’s services include:
Raising awareness about the housing struggles faced by veteran families.
Advocacy for legislative reforms to improve protections and assistance programs.
Financial and legal support to help prevent foreclosure.
Community engagement and social media campaigns to foster awareness and action.
With its 501(c)(3) status, KOVH can now accept tax-deductible donations, apply for grants, and form partnerships with corporations and other organizations to bolster its mission.
